Food court, 181 Bay St. C140, Toronto, ON M5J 2T3, Canada

General Info

Located in the busy food court at 181 Bay St. C140 in Toronto, The Poke Box is a fast food restaurant that fits perfectly into the rhythm of downtown life. Surrounded by office towers and constant foot traffic, this spot feels designed for people who want a quick, reliable meal without sacrificing quality or convenience. The location itself makes it easy to stop by during a lunch break or before heading home after a long day.

What immediately stands out about this restaurant is how smoothly everything works. The ordering process is quick, and the menu is easy to navigate even if it’s your first visit. Many diners come here during peak lunch hours, yet the pace never feels overwhelming. Because the restaurant focuses on fast food efficiency, meals are prepared quickly, which is exactly what people in the financial district often need.

The experience also works well for solo dining. Sitting down with a meal in the food court setting feels comfortable whether you’re taking a short break from work or simply enjoying a quiet moment alone. I noticed that many guests seemed to appreciate how simple it was to grab food and sit down without any fuss. It’s the kind of place where you can recharge for a bit before getting back to your day.

Accessibility is another thoughtful aspect of the location. The wheelchair accessible entrance ensures that more guests can easily reach the restaurant and enjoy the same convenient dining experience. Small details like this make a noticeable difference, especially in a busy downtown setting where accessibility matters.

For people who prefer eating at home or in the office, no-contact delivery is also available. This option makes the restaurant even more practical, especially during packed workdays when stepping out isn’t always possible. Ordering ahead and having the food delivered without direct contact adds an extra layer of convenience that many customers now look for when choosing where to eat.

The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner, making it a dependable choice throughout the day. During lunchtime, it attracts professionals looking for a quick meal between meetings. In the evening, it becomes a convenient stop for commuters passing through the area. Because of this flexibility, the location consistently sees a steady stream of diners.

Looking through reviews from other visitors, the feedback often highlights the same strengths: speed, accessibility, and convenience. While the food court setting keeps things casual, the overall experience still feels organized and reliable. For anyone exploring dining options in downtown Toronto, especially around Bay Street, this fast food restaurant offers a straightforward and satisfying place to eat.

What customers say?

“ Best poke bowl I've had. The build your own bowl is an awesome deal. ”

“ Ruffled Up Poke Box Bowl (smoked duck, shrimp, veggies) was awesome and filled with umami goodness. The smoked duck was delicious. ”

- Andrew Lee -

“ Amazing poke bowl. One of the best I’ve had. Tried the cucumber dill sauce with the salmon and it was bomb! ”

- Ashley Renaud -

“ Honestly my fav place in the path For $14 this is a pretty good deal Get the small build your own box, you get the same amount of protein just fewer toppings. Avocado is not extra charge Toppings seem fresh and good options Garlic aioli is always delicious, basically a spicy mayo with garlic flavour and never a bad option but citrus wasabi ended up being a surprisingly good sauce, perfect balance for the raw salmon. I think they also only put it on the salmon which was nice, but honestly I think the flavour works for the whole bowl. I was worried it'd be too sour or heavy on the wasabi but it's perfect I was literally imagining what my perfect poke bowl would be on the go train this morning and I was thinking it'd need a tangy sauce with a hint of cool spiciness to cut through the fattiness of the salmon and this sauce was literally exactly what I was imagining I wasn't hungry but I took one bite and started digging in Until I find a place that's more generous with the protein I think I have to give a 10/10 ”

“ I recently visited the poke shop located in the PATH beside Union. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, with just the right amount of sauce. I ordered the Lava bowl with avocado and loved how customizable it was—I went for half mixed rice and half salad. Tasty and healthy. Highly recommend! ”
